What this site knows about you

Two things happen here that involve your data: we count visits, and you can join a waitlist for a painting. Both are described below in plain language. Last updated 8 August 2026.

Who is responsible

This site is Just B Painting. For anything on this page — including asking for your data to be deleted — write to justbpainting@gmail.com and you'll get a reply from a person.

Counting visits

The site uses Google Analytics to count how many people visit and which paintings they look at. It sets cookies, so it is switched off until you accept. Decline and no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is sent — the site works exactly the same.

Your IP address is anonymised before it reaches Google. The legal basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time:

Which paintings people play with

When someone turns a painting into a puzzle, frames it, or rotates it, we record that it happened — the painting and the time, nothing else. No email, no cookie, no address, nothing that could point back to a person. It tells us which pieces people want to spend time with, which is how we decide what to make prints and puzzles of.

The waitlist

When you join the waitlist for a piece, this is stored:

• Your email address — so you can be contacted about that piece.
• Which painting you asked about.
• Your message, if you wrote one.
• The date and time you signed up.
• Your country, from your connection. Not your city, not your address.

That's everything. No name unless you write one, no tracking of you across other sites, no profile built about you.

What it is used for: contacting you about the painting you asked about. Nothing else. You will not be added to a newsletter, and your details are never sold, rented, or shared with anyone.

Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box on the form.

Where it is stored: Cloudflare's storage, on infrastructure the we control. Cloudflare processes it on our behalf and does nothing else with it.

How long: until you ask for it to be removed, or until the piece is sold and everyone waiting has been told — whichever comes first, and no more than three years.

Hearing about new work

You may also be invited, once, to leave your email to hear when new paintings appear. That stores the same things as the waitlist — your email, the date, and your country — and is used only to tell you about new work. It is a separate choice from the waitlist and from the cookie question, and one email to us removes you from it.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. If you are in the UK, EU, EEA or Switzerland you also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, to receive your data in a portable form, and to complain to your national data protection authority. If you are in California you have the right to know, delete, correct, and not be discriminated against for asking — and note that your data is never sold or shared for advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.

One email to justbpainting@gmail.com does any of it. No form, no account, no proof of identity beyond writing from the address you signed up with. You'll get an answer within 30 days and usually much sooner.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 16, and no data is knowingly collected from them.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top changes with it.
